Message from the President

Dear SRN members,

As you saw, our server is working again. Thanks to all the Board members who helped! Hope to see you all this Thursday at TACtile at 11 a.m. We hope to see Dianne Denholm of TACtile there too, to tell us more about the coming "sale" for which she will be soliciting items to offer for sale. If you don't get to the TACtile area very often (like me), you may want to bring possible items to show her. Or you can wait to hear more of the particulars. I believe they need the items by around June 12. Could be an exciting opportunity!

Coming up are meetings you may want to consider attending to find out more of "what happens" in the world of SRN and of TACtile:

• The TACtile Board of Advisors will meet at 6:30pm on Thursday, June 5th.
• The Board of Directors of SRN will meet on Tuesday, June 10th at 6 or 6:30pm, place to be announced.

Do come, no obligation, see if it's something that excites you and you'd be interested in giving your time or ideas to. We do need a few more Board members right now to carry on the good work begun.

This Months Event

Die cut machines have been around for a very long time being used with paper crafting. Now quilters can rejoice!! AccuCut has made a die cut machine for cutting quilt squares. You can purchase different dies to cut different quilt blocks, and reduce your quilt cutting time by 90%, (according to the "experts".)!!

Tracy and Kelly will be showing you this remarkable tool, and you too can be amazed.

Membership Roster Announcements

Members may pick-up membership rosters and brochures at any meeting. New rosters will be printed for the March, July & November 2008 meetings (subject to change). If you can not attend a meeting and want a roster or brochure, please email Toni at toni_fitzwater@msn.com, and request it and she will mail it to you.

Notice that all Membership Dues are being changed to March 1st each year. To avoid being deleted from the membership list, please have your dues paid no later than one month after your membership expiration date.
