Message from the President
Dear SRN members,
Come one, come all to the December 10 holiday luncheon! We'll bring holiday foods to share (desserts, appetizers, salads if you want) and a gift to exchange ($10 max.) There will be no program, but we will elect officers for the new year who will start in March, and share tips from our own experience, a show-and-tell. I am determined to come in a costume I've made!

At the November meeting we received and distributed the new brochures, which are still available.
We will get cards with the new meeting dates for 2010 at the coming luncheon.

HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
Our meeting will be a pot luck, so bring one of your favorite holiday dishes.
Toni will provide plates, napkins and plasticwear, be sure to bring a serving utensil for you dish.
We will exchange sewing related gifts, something from your studio would be great, be sure to wrap or put it in a none transparent bag.
Don't forget to bring your show and tell, so the membership can see what everyone else is up to.
Business Opportunity
Stephanie Rosebaum is requesting associates. She writes:
I need a sewing studio really badly now, as we moved in to this two bedroom apartment. Oh, the places we'll go with our fabrics!!!!! You should SEE where I have it stashed in nooks and crannies.....ugh!
So -- two things...
I have always wanted to spearhead an effort to have a house in a business zone, or an office building---- in which SEVERAL sewing businesses are located....all different services offered, one stop shopping, and including the referral of all of our other businesses in SRN available/posted/advertised within that building. Is anyone interested in this?????
Otherwise, I would really appreciate knowing if anyone knows of any available either workspace alone, or retail and/or workspace to share.
I also know that there are work/live spaces available these days; I have found them very expensive but I will look further. An apartment that is very close to an "urban" area would work also, such as Belmar or Littleton.
I am looking, and asking anyone who is interested also in finding a space to contact me online, or call me at 720-284-7631. THANK YOU!!!!
Promoting Sewing Skills
Our membership is a great source of knowledge. Several of our members are sharing their talents by teaching individually and in businesses. Who better to learn from than our members.If you are involved in a sewing education opportunity and want it in the news letter, forward the details to toni_fitzwater@msn.com, the editor, so it can be included.

Judy Veyera (303-882-0401) is selling 2 machines.
Pfaff 2140/2170 Embroidery Sewing Machine & Extras $1800 Machine and Embroidery Unit are in great shape, has been serviced on a yearly basis. Selling only because of purchasing a commercial embroidery machine.
The machine has been updated to a 2170; 300 Card, 3D embroidery Software with serial I/O Card, extra hoops including 2 All Fabric hoops, Grand hoop, 3D Sketch, Endless hoop & Sock hoopser. It has a serial I/O PC Card for computer.
Pfaff 7570 with Embroidery Unit & Extras $900 Machine and Embroidery Unit are in great shape, has been serviced on a yearly basis. This machine has been a great machine, light weight with many Embroidery Cards and Cap Hoop.
